2D seismic project for ORLEN Upstream
Andrzej Dusak, Senior Geophysicist
Eng. MSc Geophysicist, technician of geology
His adventure with geo-sciences started in 1986 in the Geological High School in Kielce. He was awarded the degree of Master of Science and Geophysics Engineer in 1996 at the University of Science and Technology in Cracow. In the company ‘Geofizyka’ Toruń he dealt with, inter alia, shallow geophysical methods, and naturally seismic prospecting. He was gaining his experience by taking part in many national 2D/3D/3C projects, and also foreign (India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Germany, Denmark, Lithuania). For 10 years he has been a participant of 3C implementation program. A member of world’s geophysical organizations, associations and trade organizations. At present, as a specialist, he is dealing with 2D/3D/4D/3C designing, consultations, supervision, experimental work and testing.
Eng. MSc Geophysicist
He graduated from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków in 2005 with a master’s and engineering degree. He began his professional career at Geofizyka Toruń as an Engineer Operator analysing shallow refractions and measurements in up-holes. He gained his main experience as a Geophysicist/Seismologist working on a number of seismic 2D/3D/2D-3C projects, both in Poland and abroad in India and Denmark. He has also dealt with designing and preparing seismic 2D/3D projects. The interpretation of seismic data was an important stage in his career. He now has geological qualifications in category IX - Certified Geophysicist (certified by Polish Ministry of Environment).and Middle Rank Mining Supervision (certified by District Mining Authority in Poznan). He currently supervises seismic 2D/3D works.
For the purpose of performing certain projects we cooperate with Specialists from various areas of geophysics and geology:
- seismic data processing specialists,
- seismic data interpreters,
- petroleum geologists,
- HSE inspectors,
- and others.
